inverted[edit]

Hi folks,
is this picture inverted? I can read the text in the right way; if youn want to print u need mirror-inverted letters, i think so? And also the firmname ist really inverted. Is this right, or am I too sleepy? Should we make an description? greetz vanGore 22:12, 26 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Gravure[edit]

Hi guys, hi ladies, I think the picture should be turned by 180 degrees, so that you can read the gravure on the galley.

Thanks for the work. moLa of de-wiki.

I agree with the above. The original should have been mirrored (to correct original's mirroring), but not flipped vertically. I tried to fix this myself but apparently this file is locked for changes.

Yes, this picture is upside-down (actually tne composing stick is flat upon the case, but when used it is hold with the left hand, so the right part is on the left). If you take the stick like this, all the sorts will fall! Of course the text is always inverted but usually typographers can read each line left to right, and lines from down to up (please forgive my weak English). --Guingois (talk) 14:23, 3 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
