User:Editor at Large raised the issue that now that the watermarks have been removed, the remaining image may be in violation of Moldovian counterfeiting law (we haven't traced down the relevant laws, if any - in practise it's too low-res to use to produce convincing counterfeit notes). She plans to write some kind of policy about this sort of thing. Meanwhile, since I am not a lawyer, I will optimistically keep the image as-is and not add any sort of "specimen" mark. - Usually, the counterfeiting laws apply only when the copy can be confused with a real banknote. This is clearly not the case in a digital environment and not even in a printed book. Bogdan 20:28, 17 February 2007 (UTC)
