Constructive Criticism regarding the map[edit]
Hello Vuxi, it is nice to have this map of the new Pontebbana secion available. It helps to contrast old an new alignment. May I add some constructive criticism.
First of all, I would upload the map in SVG format. I understand the relief very probably is bitmap, but the railways and roads could be edited more easily if they were vector graphics. At least I do think so.
One more thing. I think the new Pontebbana alignment in the tunnels is not fully correct. I have seen some maps where the tunnels go much further into the mountain sides, and they gave even reasons why the did so, in particular make the line longer so the slope is somewhat less. As the tunnel alignments are displayed now, it does not match up with the positioning in reality.
Looking forward to an improved version of the map, and I know it does take work to produced such images. -- Klaus with K (talk) 09:27, 29 July 2009 (UTC)

- there is already a discussion about this map on german wikipedia. About the tunnels. I know that on some maps the tunnels are further in the mountain. For my map I used Openstreetmap and there the tunnels are more or less the same as on my map. There were 2 small mistakes ( east of Pontebba and near the austrian border with the last tunnel beeing a straight line instead a half circle ). Vuxi (talk) 10:37, 29 July 2009 (UTC)
