Further Book Details:

The book has a hand-written signature inside: T.H. O'Brien March 1925, Paris.

The date may actually be 1915 but the owner has "dashed" the mark so can't say one or the other for definite.

The seller's label states:

Boyveau & Chevillet

Livres en toutes langues

22 R. de la Banque Paris

I did a Google search for the early editions but came up with different bindings and no definite way of dating. The copy in my possession still has its original cover and has "The Dramatic Works of Sheridan" on the spine in gold lettering and "Sheridan" on the front in gold lettering.

Please note that the image scanned has no color correction and apart from the crop has no post-scan edits of any sort. I've removed the other images from the book and will prepare them for uploading to Wiki Commons. Such a shame to pull a book apart but it is for Wiki Commons so hopefully the images may get used in some way.
