Singapore MRT network map

[edit]

Can someone update the map? Hume MRT station was announced on 7 March 2019 and Brickland MRT station and Sungei Kadut MRT station were announced on 25 May 2019. Can you also fix some misalignments in the map too? BamZ412 (talk) 13:57, 21 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Fixed as requested. Sorry you have been blocked. Seloloving (talk) 05:49, 23 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

High Speed Rail

[edit]

Hello there, thank you so much for making this map! Your production quality is so good, hopefully one day I'd be able to learn how to make high quality vector images like this one.

While browsing LTA's official website, I found this: https://www.lta.gov.sg/content/ltagov/en/upcoming_projects/rail_expansion/high_speed_rail.html It says that a High Speed Rail from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur is being considered. I am not suggesting that the High Speed Rail itself be put in the map, as 1) it's still being considered anyways and 2) it would be obviously inconvenient. Rather, the page mentions that "The Jurong East terminus will be easily accessible by four MRT lines: the existing East-West and North-South Lines at Jurong East MRT station and upcoming Jurong Region Line and Cross Island Line. It will also be served by the Jurong East Integrated Transport Hub."

With this in mind, it's likely (not confirmed, but very likely in my opinion) that the Cross Island Line would intersect with Jurong East MRT Station. With this in mind, the alignment of the proposed CRL in your map should be adjusted. In addition, I've seen many maps placing the CRL's interchange with the Downtown Line in King Albert Park MRT Station rather than Sixth Avenue MRT Station, so placing the interchange there would make the map is probably better.

Anyways, thank you for your time and have a nice day. :) RBolton123 (talk) 07:57, 6 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@RBolton123: I sincerely apologise for this ridiculously late reply, but I only just saw the message. As the HSR has been cancelled, that would no longer be a factor, sadly. In any case, the Cross Island Line's western branch is based on the 2013 draft master plan, and while I am aware it's highly unlikely to be accurate by now, there's a lack of definitive sources on the route to KAP. Don't worry though, I will update the map accordingly when LTA announces the plans.
Again, apologies for the very late reply, and thank you for the kind comments. Seloloving (talk) 08:27, 14 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
