Map is off a bit[edit]

The map is a bit off.... the borders seem to be rotated clockwise, so that the northwest end of Tibet ends up intruding into the Taklamakan Desert of Xinjiang. -- ran (talk) 04:20, July 12, 2005 (UTC)

POV[edit]

POV because the Indian claims to Aksai China are not addressed. user:Nichalp User Talk:Nichalp 12:19, 18 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Ridiculous politicisation of pure geographical map. The map makes no claim of territories
and boundaries. The whole plateau can be made to appear to belong to India if you wish, just
by taking away the Chinese characters. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 165.21.155.10 (talk) 10:07, 2 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
The remark above is purely ridiculous in itself!! It seems to forbid marking administrative borders - for the sake of informativeness - on purely physical/geographical maps. No reason, however, why it should be forbiddden. The remarks on what "can be made" "if you wish" is a purely wishful thinking on the part of the commentator, whithout any basis in reality, however. noychoH (talk) 08:00, 3 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
