@Rowanwindwhistler: there is a minor error: Estraburgo -> Estrasburgo. Why do you convert the text to paths? It would be easier to correct the file if the text would be edible. Greetings --Furfur Diskussion 11:46, 1 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Furfur: you actually have both: the editable text (hidden, in a separate layer) and the text-turned-path text, create mainly because traditionally svg files do not show text properly in the Wikipedia articles (some old bug, as far as I can remember). Any change is actually easy to do: open the file in inkscape, delete the visible text layer, make the editable layer visible, make the necessary changes, duplicate the layer, hide the original layer and turn the new layer's text into paths (the process takes less than 5 minutes). If the articles showed text properly, the additional layer would not be necessary but I am not sure the problem is solved yet. I would very much preferred that, but I would have to be sure text is shown accurately.--Rowanwindwhistler (talk) 12:35, 1 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hello Rowanwindwhistler, you can certainly do it this way, and of course I don't want to advise you what to do. It is perfectly ok this way.
I try to circumvent the problem of improper font display by using fallback fonts. But of course then you are restricted to the use of certain fonts (Arial, Times New Roman). I am replacing the expression "font-family="Arial" by font-family="Liberation Sans,Arial,Sans-serif" or the expression "font-style="Times New Roman" by font-style="Liberation Serif,Times New Roman,Serif" (if necessary supplemented by font-style="italic" and/or font-weight="bold"). Liberation Sans and Liberation Serif are built-in Wikipedia fonts that have the same letter spacing als Arial and Times New Roman. So in case someone has not installed Arial/Times New Roman in their system these fonts are used as replacement to get a proper display. --Furfur Diskussion 12:56, 1 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
