Apparent discrepancy between this and "Carbon Dioxide 800kyr.svg"[edit]

Carbon Dioxide 800kyr

@Autopilot: I'm confused by the apparent discrepancy between your lovely "Vostok Petit data.svg" and File:Carbon Dioxide 800kyr.svg: If I'm reading both correctly, yours covers the last 450,000 years while File:Carbon Dioxide 800kyr.svg covers the last 800,000 years. When I look at the period in File:Carbon Dioxide 800kyr.svg prior to about 1900, the two plots seem to match over the period of their common history. The both say that prior to about 1900, CO2 levels tended to fluctuate between roughly 160 and 300 ppm. Since around 1925 +/- 30 years, they've been above 300 ppm for the first time in the past 800,000 years, increasing rapidly (exponentially?), and standing now at roughly 440 ppm.

If your plot stops around 1900, then the two images match. Otherwise, I perceive a discrepancy.
