[edit]Image from the walking experiment on the Cybercarpet. The active diameter of the cybercarpet is 0.8 meters and maximum load is 100 kg. The platform shows stable performance with cylindrical holes and ball diemaeter of 8mm up to 1.4 m/s, above this limit, balls start to flip out of the holes. Several solutions to this problems are provided in scientific papers issued by the Institute of Applied Mechanics, TUM, Germany
