Picture showing coupling device for drawbar-type trailer. Picture is little snowy but it shows clearly enough coupling device. There is jaw and locking pin above it. Pin has handle on side for operating the device. In this particular device there is air operated servo behind pin which helps when locking and releasing the pin. Above coupling device there are air hose for trailer brakes, cord for lights, ABS cord and extra cord fitted specially for this trailer (from left to right). Français : Dispositif d’attelage d’une remorque à essieux centraux. On voit bien la mâchoire à l’intérieur de laquelle l’anneau d’attelage en bout de timon est en place. Malgré la neige on voit assez nettement sur le dessus de la mâchoire, le carter cylindrique (rouge avec étiquette orangé), dans lequel coulisse la broche qui s’est insérée dans l’anneau au moment ou le piston en fond de mâchoire a été poussé. Le levier à gauche du carter cylindrique permet de verrouiller et déverrouiller la broche (asservissement pneumatique).
En partant de la gauche, il y a les deux tuyaux d’air comprimé pour le freinage de la remorque (le système de raccordement de freinage utilisé sur le continent est différent). Puis, 3 câbles électriques, le plus gros au centre est destiné au système ABS, les autres deux alimentent les feux de remorque, le 1er alimente l’éclairage principal, le plus à droite les feux complémentaires (brouillard, recul, etc.). Certains dispositifs possèdent un seul câble avec prise 13 broches alimentant tous les feux.
