English: Zeus (centre) parts Athena (left) and Ares (right) while Kyknos (far right) flees Herakles (here unseen) approaching in his chariot (far left). The scene has also been thought to represent a Gigatomachy. Attic black-figured volute-krater, ca. 540–510 BC.
Français : Zeus (au centre) sépare Athéna (à gauche) et Arès (à droite) alors que Cycnos (tout à droite) fuit Héraclès (non représenté ici) arrivant sur son chariot (tout à gauche). La scène a également été interprétée comme une gigantomachie. Cratère à volutes attique à figures noires, vers 540-510 av. J.-C.
