Description
Deutsch: Gelände des alten Bochumer Hauptbahnhofs („Katholikentagbahnhof“), der 1957 an anderer Stelle neu erbaut wurde. Verblieben ist an dieser Stelle nur der Ragierbahnhof, der mit dem Rückgang des Güterverkehrs auch an Bedeutung verloren hat. Bis 2005 wurden einige Gebäude noch als Schule für Bundesbahnangehörige genutzt. Seit 2010 hat Leonardo Bauer/Kulturgleis dsa Gebaüde als Kulturveranstaltungsort überenommen, siehe "Rotunde (Bochum)".
English: The formerly Katholikentagbahnhof in Bochum, Germany. Grounds of the former main train station, which was rebuilt at a downtown location in 1957. At the former site, there were some freight train tracks initially still in use, but now, with the decrease of mass transport, have fallen into disuse. Some buildings were used as a school for employees until 2005. From 2010 it works as an off-culture-hotspot, run by Leonardo Bauer: "Rotunde".
