Description
Français : Religieuses du couvent de l'union en 1940. De gauche à droite: soeur Marie-Odile, soeur Marie-Antoinette, Melle Labaume institutrice, soeur Marie-Hélène, soeur Brigitte. (Pomayrols, Aveyron, France).
Fondé le 12 février 1675 le couvent de l'union de Pomayrols a été placé sous la protection de Saint François de Sales.

Les soeurs de l'union (autrefois soeurs du travail) sont liées par les trois voeux de pauvreté, de chasteté, et d'obéissance.

En plus du travail manuel, elles ont en charge l'éducation des enfants qu'elles initient aux valeurs du christianisme. C'est également une congrégation enseignante, la scolarité des enfants est assurée par des enseignants religieux ou laîcs. En septembre 1975 par manque d'écoliers le couvent ferma ses portes, les religieuses réintégrèrent le couvent de l'union de Saint Geniez d'Olt.
