A free hand scetch based on two similar rock paintings in Finland with a moose with boat-shaped horns.
DescriptionVenesarvinen hirvi.jpg |
English: The elk is a common image in many Finnish petroglyphs. A drawing of a bighorn elk based on the rock paintings of Astuvansalmi and Ruominkapia that resemble each other. The original images are partially worn; this drawing combines parts of both, and also includes my own imagination. These moose are called boat-horned, because their antlers resemble pictures of boats. |

Kuva on tarkoitettu lähinnä käytettäväksi logon tavoin.
The image is mainly intended to be used as a logo. Since the image is not an exact reproduction, it should not be presented as such. For this purpose, there are photographs of rock paintings depicting moose on Wikimedia Commons in this category." A drawing made by user tuohirulla
