Deutsch: Das Prämonstratenserkloster Rüti in der Gemeinde Rüti (ZH) war im Zürcher Oberland Besitzerin umfangreicher Ländereien, letzte Ruhestätte der Grafen von Toggenburg und umfasste in den Jahren 1206 bis 1525 (Aufhebung) 14 inkorporierte Kirchen. Die Abtei war ein Etappenpunkt am Jakobsweg via Rapperswil zum Kloster Einsiedeln.
English: Rüti Abbey was a former Premonstratensian abbey, founded in 1206 and suppressed in 1525, in the municipality of Rüti in the canton of Zürich, Switzerland. In the Zürcher Oberland, Rüti was the owner of extensive lands, final resting place of the Counts of Toggenburg, among them Count Friedrich VII and 13 members of the Toggenburg family, and other noble families. Rüti was an important stage point at Jakobsweg (Way of St. James) via Rapperswil to the Einsiedeln Abbey.
