English: The Royal Palace of Madrid (Spanish: Palacio Real de Madrid, also called Palacio de Oriente, "Eastern Palace") is the official residence of the King of Spain. It was projected by Filippo Juvarra and Giovan Battista Sachetti, and built between 1738 and 1764. Extension and 1st alteration were made by Francesco Sabatini in 1778.
