English: Church of The Cross in Lahti, Finland is the main church of Lahti. It was designed by architect Alvar Aalto, and completed in 1978. The facades were made of fired reddish brown bricks, and the over 40-metre (130 ft) concrete belltower rises straight from the top of the church. The three church bells originate from a previous wooden church located on the same hill. The simple wooden cross in the church hall is made of a girder in the old former belltower. – A 52-stop organ by Veikko Virtanen.
Suomi: Ristinkirkko Lahdessa on akateemikko Alvar Aallon suunnittelema Lahden pääkirkko, joka valmistui vuonna 1978. Kirkon julkisivu on punaruskeaa poltettua tiiltä. 40 metriä korkeassa, betonisessa kellotornissa on kolme kelloa, jotka ovat peräisin paikalla aiemmin sijainneesa puukirkosta, kuten myös kirkkosalin alttariseinän risti, joka on veistetty kellotapulin hirrestä.
