Lutheran/Augustana church complex. In 1882, the Lutheran Church/Community of Debrecen was transformed into a mother church, since then on they began to keep the register and rented a room that could be converted into a prayer room at the corner of Kossuth (former Cegléd) Street and Sas Street. In 1886 they managed to purchase their present-day plot close to Miklós Street and Piac Street for the purpose of church, parish house and Lutheran school. The plans and construction of the church were made by Lajos Szikszay, local master builder. In 1889 the church without a tower was completed, the sacristy was built on the north side, and the altar was built at the western end. The tower plans made by architect Tibor Bagi in 1995. The inauguration of the 5 x 4.15 m tower, which is 22.75 m high, connected to the church ship from the courtyard, and in it the Hungarian world patent, an aluminum bell, took place on 28 September 1997. In 2014 (after?) a 160 kg bronze bell bell of Miklós Gombos, the bell-casting master, was made to the church In two rooms of the sub-church is the Lutheran Lace Museum of Debrecen, the exhibition of Csetnek lace (Gömör County, Csetnek). The Csetnek lace was 'invented' at the beginning of the 20th century. A torony Bagi Tibor 1995-ben készült tervei alapján épült és 1997-ben szentelték fel.
