Faroese language

Faroese is the language spoken in the Faroe Islands. It is a Scandinavian language similar to Icelandic and Western Norwegian. With only 60.000 speakers in the Faroes and abroad, it is the smallest Germanic language and one of the smallest languages in Europe.
