Català: Extracte del Diario de Navarra del 17 de febrer del 1939, de títol «Es prohibido el uso del catalán como idioma oficial» (traduïble com a «Es prohibeix l'ús del català com a idioma oficial»).
Afirma que s'hi prohibia el català com a llengua oficial de segon rang a «les províncies de Catalunya» i en dissolia totes les institucions polítiques amb autonomia, per decret del dictador espanyol Francisco Franco.
English: Excerpt from the Diario de Navarra of 17 February 1939, with the title in Spanish "Es prohibido el uso del catalán como idioma oficial" (translatable as "It is forbidden the use of Catalan as an official language").
It states that Catalan became banned as an official language of second rank in "the provinces of Catalonia" and all political institutions with autonomy had been dissolved by decree of the Spanish dictator Francisco Franco. |
