Deutsch: Die Seerosenblätter stammen von den Grafen von Bentheim, an die die Grafschaft 1262 fiel. Der Anker stammt vom Wappen der Grafschaft Lingen.
English: The arms show the water lily leaves of the arms of the Counts of Bentheim, who in 1262 inherited the County of Tecklenburg. The county was later divided and large parts became part of the County of Lingen who showed the anchor in their arms. |
