Deutsch: Das geachtelte Wappen zeigt stellvertretend für die vier Fürstäbte je zwei gleiche Symbole (Adler, gleichzeitig ein Zeichen für die Reichsabtei), Lilien (Symbol sowohl für Frankreich als auch für Poitiers, dem Geburtsort Emmerams), Palmzweig und Schlüssel (Schlüssel und Palmzweig sind ursprüngliche Symbole des Wappens des Reichsabtei St. Emmeram.) Der Herzschild zeigt den fränkischen Wanderbischof St. Emmeram mit der Leiter. |
