This interior photograph shows several levels of Kyoto Station. At the bottom is the entrance to the trains. At the far end is a cafe or restaurant on the second floor. Additional floors are visible beneath the glass curtain. The escalators are part of a system that links the ground floor and the top floor of the Takashimaya department store within the station building. I took the photograph.
