English: A huge Ceratosauroid theropod from the Early Jurassic of Italy. "Discovered on 1996 by Dal sasso et at. Saltriovenator was classified on several Theropod families, from Coelophysoidea ( Roger B. J. Benson, 2010, S. 131–146) to Allosauriade, looking more to be an species related to Sinosaurus triassicus or Cryolophosaurus, thus a basal tetanuran.Finally, on 2018, was named Satriovenator zanellai and classified as a ceratosaur. Saltriovenator can be on the biggest predators found on Europe, with an holtype of around 7,8-8 m (Disputed), considering an adult about a maximum of 8,5 m with an 75-80 cm head. It is the earliest theropod with confirmed only three digits on the hands.This restoration shows the environment of the Saltrio formation (Lombardy, Italy) at the late Sinemurian (191 Ma). Saltrio formation is believed to be an ancient beach, due to the presence of nautiloids and Brachiopods. Includes the gigantic predator wandering while two Crocodrylomorhps (aff.
