This image is inaccurate with respect that it shows US cottonseed production centered in the Northeastern US. There is no cotton grown in this region. Cotton is grown in the Southern US from Coast to Coast with the largest cotton growing region in Texas.

Production may be correct on a country basis, but it is not located correctly within each country, making this chart deceptive.
