"Inner" vertices have 10 outgoing edges and "outer" 8

Dear Sirs,
as the 24-cell is a regular 4-polytope, every vertex should have the same number of direct outgoing edges. Because there is a total of 96 edges and a total of 24 vertices, there should be 96/24×2 = 8 edges outging from every vertex. But in the figure c:File:24-cell t0 F4.svg (or orthographically more precisely "File:24-cell to F4.svg") I count 10 outgoing edges from the vertices of the inner circle. –Nomen4Omen (留言) 06:57, 26 September 2021 (UTC)
