Re-name?

[编辑]

The current title here (“80 cm Gustav shell compared to T-34”) is misleading (in fact it’s bordering on dishonest); the photo depicts the shell in the foreground, and the tank in the background, which distorts their relative sizes considerably. The shell could be the size of a rifle bullet for all the composition tells us.
The shell is 32 inches (800mm) in diameter, and about 13ft (4m) high; the tank is 9ft (3m) wide and 8ft (2.45m) high, with a gun barrel length of 7ft (2.4m).
Also, between the shell and the tank is a He 162 jet aircraft, suspended from the ceiling; that has a length of 29ft (9m), which makes it twice as long as the shell, though you wouldn’t know that from the picture.
I’ve altered the description, to be a bit more honest; I’ve requested a page move for the same reason. Xyl 54 (talk) 23:36, 11 January 2012 (UTC)[回复]

PS A better comparison would be to a Tall Boy bomb. Xyl 54 (talk) 23:41, 11 January 2012 (UTC)[回复]
