Couldn't this be an Aquatic Warbler (rather than Sedge Warbler) because of the yellowish streak above the eye?

Könnte dies nicht ein Seggenrohrsänger sein, da gelblicher Überaugenstreif? — 以上未签名的留言是由该用户加入的: Sgbeer (留言 • 贡献) 19:43, 20 May 2014 (UTC)[回复]

The area of distribution for the two species partly overlap (and includes Poland, where the photographer and original uploader lives) and both birds share several similar visual features so yes, as far as I can tell this may very well be a young Acrocephalus paludicola instead of an Acrocephalus schoenobaenus. Perhaps the two pictures Acrocephalus schoenobaenus 2 (Marek Szczepanek).jpg and Acrocephalus schoenobaenus 3 (Marek Szczepanek).jpg may be helpful when comparing species? They are both uploaded on the same day as the original photo, and by the same photographer. –Tommy Kronkvist (留言), 04:48, 17 December 2019 (UTC).[回复]
