The image is sourced to cia.gov which makes it in the public domain, so it cannot be deleted. On the other hand, I did correct the dating in the image, which should be 2018 (before the US recognized Morocco's sovreignty over Western Sahara), not 2021 as was previously stated. Incorrect dating of the image

Difference from CIA map

It would appear that the only difference between the source map from the CIA World Factbook and the derivative version here is that the former says, "Morocco claims the territory of Western Sahara, the political status of which is considered undetermined by the U.S. govermment," whereas the latter says, "Morocco claims the non-self-governing territory of Western Sahara." - Jmabel ! talk 22:23, 18 December 2023 (UTC)

Date of CIA map

https://www.cia.gov/resources/map/morocco/ clearly shows that the CIA dates their map as 2018. As far as I can tell, M.Bitton's 3 February 2021 date for the present file refers only to the date of his own small change and the resulting file, not the date represented by the map. On that basis, I am placing it in Category:2018 maps of Africa. Such categories relate to the time represented, not the date the map/file was made. - Jmabel ! talk 22:28, 18 December 2023 (UTC)
