Hello,

On which works is based this map?

Thanks,

This map cannot be superseded by file:Aztec Empire 1519 map-fr.svg, first it has not the same territory and second it was already a vectorial version of the same territory as orthographic projection. --Giggette (talk) 20:40, 4 June 2013 (UTC)[回复]

Yes it should. Because :
  1. This map shows erroneous frontiers, like File:Aztec Empire ME (orthographic projection).svg, supported by not a single specialized (thus, reliable) source, while File:Aztec Empire 1519 map-fr.svg is supported by a very reliable one (Arqueología Mexicana) and a lot of other ones
  2. This map is not a vector image, like File:Aztec Empire ME (orthographic projection).svg is not a valid one, while File:Aztec Empire 1519 map-fr.svg yes is a valid one
  3. This map represents first the Aztec Empire and then its global localization, like File:Aztec Empire 1519 map-fr.svg (which includes an useful complementary map of the Valley of Mexico), while File:Aztec Empire ME (orthographic projection).svg only represents the global localization.

You say the same OVER AND over again, can't you understand why you CANNOT superseded this map with yours? file:Aztec Empire 1519 map-fr.svg don't you have enough?, it doesn't matter THE SOURCES! .. this is NOT wikipedia, your map is COMPLETELY different. Just tired of arguing. --Giggette (talk) 23:44, 4 June 2013 (UTC)[回复]
The reliability of a file doesn't matter? Are you serious? And what about my other arguments? El Comandante (talk) 00:13, 5 June 2013 (UTC)[回复]
The {{Superseded}} template is not used because of that. --Giggette (talk) 00:37, 5 June 2013 (UTC)[回复]
Yes it is : This template shows a better image that should be used instead of the first image says the documentation page of this template. That's exactly the point : this map is superseded by File:Aztec Empire 1519 map-fr.svg because that one is more reliable, a valid vector image and a more informative map. That's why it is a better image that should be used instead of the first image. File:Aztec Empire ME (orthographic projection).svg is not a better image that should be used instead of the first image, because it is not more reliable, it is not a valid SVG either, and it is less informative (only a global localization map without a more detailed one), so it can't always be used instead of the first image. El Comandante (talk) 01:23, 5 June 2013 (UTC)[回复]
I explained you before when it says "better image" it means quality not sources, but the superseded image must be exactly the same but with a better quality I can't superseded with the orthographic projection or yours, they are not the same and but are SVG, but yes I can add SVG available with the orthographic projection if there's not another exactly the same in SVG but yours not because it's not the same territory in this case, understood?. --Giggette (talk) 05:34, 5 June 2013 (UTC)[回复]
Yes, I understand very well : you're just trying to improvise new rules to support your POV pushing, because there are no such limitations in the template documentation. The only definition of its usage is This template shows a better image that should be used instead of the first image. El Comandante (talk) 12:28, 5 June 2013 (UTC)[回复]
An admin already told you, don't place the {{Superseded}} template on someone else's file when there is no consensus to do so. See Commons:MELLOW. --Giggette (talk) 15:46, 5 June 2013 (UTC)[回复]
LOL. This is NOT your map either. El Comandante (talk) 18:27, 5 June 2013 (UTC)[回复]
I did not supersede this image with "my map", you did. --Giggette (talk) 18:40, 5 June 2013 (UTC)[回复]
Did the author of the map complained? No. You are just continuing creating trouble to push your still undocumented POV. El Comandante (talk) 19:48, 5 June 2013 (UTC)[回复]
