about update 2015-10-01

In the past week, there was a big stack of information coming out, and unfortunately, there're many conflicts in it. As a result, there's a lot of things that's uncertain at this point of time, but I have to update the file.

The following is uncertain, and should not be accorded to in wikipedia-article-writing:

• The opening time of West Suburban Line (Xijiao Line). It's only sure that it will not open this year.
• The opening time of Line 16. It's sure that the section from Beianhe to Xiyuan in the north will open in 2016, but from Xiyuan to Wanpingcheng in the south is not clear. FYI, the section from Xiju to Beijing South Railway Station of Line 14 is planned to open in 2019, as a result of the slow progress in Lize Business District station; this will postpone Line 16 as well.
• The opening time of: Line 3 phase 2, Line 7 east extension, Line 17, Fangshan Line's north extension.
• If there will be a throughout service connecting Line 9 and Chanping Line. The plan drawn is according to a paper written in 2013.
• If the New Airport Line still goes to Mudanyuan station. It was cut to Caoqiao station (maybe because the 4-line section with Line 19 cost too much) this year.
• If Line 12 and Line 22 (Pinggu Line) have a transfer station. According to the EIA file in 30 September, Line 12 doesn't have a station at the crossing point with Line 22.
• If there will be transfer between Niujie station of Line 19 and Guang'anmennei station of Line 7.

Also, the planned automatic people mover (APM) in the central business district (CBD) is not drawn in this version; it will be drawn next time I update the file. --DS (トーク) 18:44, 1 October 2015 (UTC)

Release note: 2023-10-01

1. This is a MAJOR update, the 3rd short-term construction plan is added to the map.
2. Anything that is considered suburban-railway, is not included in this map. Thus, Line S6 (or called Line 21) is not on the map, although it's drawed and hided by svg attributes.
3. The approved version of the 3rd short-term construction plan is not open to the public, resulting a lack of reliable sources in some of the lines and stations. Use reliable sources to write WP articles, but not this file.
4. The size of the image in px is not expected to change, until one of the following: a) suburban railway is included; b) a new term of construction plan is approved; c) The Daxing Airport Express extension towards Xiong'an New Area is included.
5. A new low-capacity line from Capital Airport to the new CIEC will be added, probably at the end of this year.

the following notes will be applicable for upcoming versions:

1. I'm not going to predict the English name of any of the upcoming stations. Correcting the English names of the existing stations (to another version of translation/transliteration) will only happen if other changes are made, or if it's a typo.
2. The predicted date of opening will be very unreliable as we only have sources about what is going to open this year at about January of each year.
