The wild berries in this photo are (from top to bottom):

Yaupon Holly:red background (poisonous, induces vomiting, once ingested for purification rituals by Native Americans);
wild Southern Blueberry: dark blue (edible);
unripe Jerusalem Cherry and unripe Yaupon Holly (smaller berries in center): both green (both inedible);
Dogwood seeds:red (inedible);
ripe Jerusalem Cherry: orange (inedible);
American Beautyberry: purple (slightly edible, nearly tasteless, somewhat unpleasant);
unripe berries of Chinese Privet: green, normally dark purple to black (inedible)
