What happend to some of the islands near New Guinea from Image:BlankMap-World-WWI.PNG? --Flominator 10:11, 6 May 2006 (UTC)[回复]

oh i see what you mean, the small ones to the west of New Guinea - it looks like they were not on Image:WWI.png - which the other map is based from, but they are on Image:WWII.png that this map is based on. Probably someone had added the extra details to the WWII map. There seems to be a few other differences with minor islands Astrokey44 14:15, 7 May 2006 (UTC)[回复]

Official recognition of the Tibet state[编辑]

No offence to the Tibetan independence movement, but Tibet was not legally recognized as an independent entity even before World War I. Tibet was part of the Britisch and Chinese empires: "south Tibet (now Arunachal Pradesh) was annexed into the Raj and the rest was legally part of the Chinese empire and after that, the Republic of China.

Therefore, the WWI and WWII maps are wrong in portraying the political situation. The fix is to remove the white border line between the "Tibet state" and the rest of "China". I am not a member of wiki commons, so hopefully someone will see this and make the change.
