Barry?

"The accuracy of this coat of arms is disputed. The dispute is about: Apparently the correct blazonement should be barry of four gules and argent, and not argent and gules, or is there an historical reason for this change?."
"Barry of four" means a total of 4 stripes, not four of each colour! If your blazon is correct then both this depiction and the other are both wrong.
