No "functionalism" here, except one building!

In this photo there is a mixture of buildings, barely of functionalist architecture, as the article using this photo is claiming! the left building is constructed in communist times, belonging to a kind of "ceausescu-baroque" style, very ugly and of poor quality. the building in the middle (far plane) is the backside of a neomodern building form around the year 2000, built by a romanian-canadian architectural company. It could be considered of vague "functionalist" influence but it has nothing to do with what we call functionalism, in the historical sense! the building at the right is the only one that dates, more or less, from the modern era (I presume it is built before 1945, but am not sure). So putting this photo there and claiming it illustrates bucharest functionalism is misleading! --Horia mar (トーク) 16:28, 18 September 2021 (UTC)[返信]
