C5 in lateral root of median nerve

[编辑]

With regards to the most recent change, does anyone have a reference supporting the presence of C5 in the median nerve and it's lateral root? My source, [1], only includes C6 and C7.

It does seem to be a mixed bag, looking further into it. Moore's does indeed not list C5 as part of the median nerve, however, my Netter's[2] does list it, along with Tortora[3]. Gray's[4] is more on the fence, noting that it is inconsistently present. And - after a quick Googling - it seems the latest edition of Netter's has moved to a less strong position, also listing C5 as inconsistent. Perhaps on this basis, a footnote of sorts should be added when using the image? Shawthorn (talk) 12:16, 6 February 2013 (UTC)[回复]
