Here is a copy from an e-mail which I've received from the press agent of the Museum of Petropolis:

Não é permitido aos visitantes fotografarem dentro do Museu e qualquer imagem de objetos (acervo) precisa de autorização do Museu para ser divulgada.

It is not allowed to visitors to take pictures inside the Museum and images of any object of our collection need authorization from the Museum to be published.

No, it doesn't. The museum has only the property of the objects in its collection. If they are 70 years older than the author's year of death, they don't have any kind of copyright over the reproduction of images of the collection, even if they claim to have. But, if the photograph was taken by a professional of the museum, it is indeed a copyvio. In this case, you have to show us a link proving that the image was done by a photographer. Anyway, I'm disputing the fast elimination. Send the image to discussion. Dornicke (talk) 18:04, 13 July 2012 (UTC)
