Suggestion for including death counts

Statistically, it will be unlikely that the death count distribution will be much different from the lab-confirmed cases counts - the socio-political-economic conditions in Poland are not perfectly uniform (poorer in the east/southeast, standard wealth/education advantages of city life in the bigger towns/cities), but in any case, you can't put too much information in a diagram.

Anyway, my suggestion is to not modify the colour shading at all, but add the death count in a black font, since in most European cultures, black signifies death (some cultures have white to signify death). If the total lab-confirmed case count peaks at 1000 or so in Poland as Szumowski has apparently predicted by late next week (I haven't checked this, this is only "rumour", and "peaks" is my speculation), then the final (this winter/spring) death count in PL should be around 20-30 or so, so there probably wouldn't be too many 3-digit death counts per województwo. I get the feeling that "the rest of Europe" (outside of Italy) is like "the rest of China" (outside of Hubei), although FR + DE are somewhere in between. Boud (留言) 00:11, 14 March 2020 (UTC)

Suggestion - add a longer delay before restarting the loop

It's hard to judge what speed makes the most sense for most users, but my feeling is that having an extra delay at the end, leaving some time sitting on the most recent day, before repeating the loop, would be better than having the same interval between the final and initial maps as between successive days. Some people will want to cross-check with the static (most recent) map. There will often be a disagreement, when one is more up-to-date than the other, but as long as the differences are small, which will generally be the case, I don't think that that would be a problem. Color scale

Would it be possible to adjust colour scale? Right now all final frames are in deep red (tone for up to 99 and up to 999 are almost the same) and it's not very useful visual information. Thanks! - Pietrasagh (留言) 21:17, 26 March 2020 (UTC)
