Predation?

The worm in this picture has dry skin, and the photo is taken in daylight. Live worms are nocturnal, and have damp, shiny skin. I think this beetle is scavenging a dead worm it has found, not eating prey it has caught. (Excellent photo though...) Richard New Forest (talk) 19:05, 29 October 2010 (UTC)[回复]
