Reidentification

[编辑]

This is a silky shark (Carcharhinus falciformis), not a Caribbean reef shark (Carcharhinus perezi); a good way to tell is that the first dorsal fin of the silky shark has a strongly "S"-shaped rear margin with long free rear tip, while the first dorsal fin of the Caribbean reef shark has a straighter rear margin with a very short rear tip. The snout of the silky shark is also more pointed than that of the Caribbean reef shark. — 以上未签名的留言是由该用户加入的: Yzx (留言 • 贡献)
