In my opinion flags in File:WuchangUprising.jpg seems to be a modern replica. Actual historical flags can be seen here: [1] [2]. -- Ericmetro (talk) 14:39, 26 September 2012 (UTC)[回覆]

I doubt that there was any official specification of the 1911 rebellion flag, and if there was an official specification of the 1913-1928 army flag, I have no idea what it was. I looked at a variety of differing images or unofficial sources, and went with what seemed plausible and/or looked good. In any case, the two images you linked to have different designs, and the design of the flag in the second image is rather similar to that in the SVG file (except that the outer 9 yellow dots have a much larger relative diameter), so I'm not sure what concrete changes you're requesting... Thank you - in fact I was not requesting there to be any change with the current version. : ) The shape of the current version is perfect. I happened to see a version uploaded by another user and I'm just wondering if the red color will be darker on actual flags. Therefore I searched several original flags and I agree that it will be hard to find any specification as colors are rarely mentioned in official documents. -- Ericmetro (talk) 06:39, 27 September 2012 (UTC)[回覆]
The colors of historical cloth flags will possibly have faded with time... I reverted the upload of User:Kaikidaisakusen because there was no explanation of the change and the file-size was bloated by 500%. Someone else reverted File:Flag of the Republic of China 1912-1928.svg... AnonMoos (talk) 12:23, 27 September 2012 (UTC)[回覆]
