Sodacan made this version of the coat of arms as a derivative of the 1962 original.
AT Commons:Copyright_rules_by_territory/Uganda there is explanation that Uganda's term of copyright for such art is 50 years, so the original art has been in public domain since 2012. Also in that explanation it says that the government applies "No copyright in public benefit works".
I evaluate this Coat of Arms as a new derivative of public domain art. Blue Rasberry (talk) 15:01, 15 October 2018 (UTC)
