Thanks very much for the illustration, but I seem to find a potential error in the dimensions of the equilateral triangles in the Star of David.

We know that the Star of David is the compound of two unilateral triangles. If the base of the large equilateral triangle measures 9.9 units, which consists of 9 bases of small triangles as illustrated, the base of each small triangle will measure 1.1 units. If the height of these small triangles measures 1.1 units, too, according to the Pythagorean Theorem, the hypotenuse of each small triangle will measure sqrt((1.1 / 2)2 + 1.12) = 1.23 units. This will make the hypotenuse of the large triangle 1.23 * 9 = 11.07 units, and the large triangle will no longer be equilateral.
