Smoking Pot ?

The description say that it shows him smoking pot. That fact is dubious, since there is no proof on the image. Using such a pipe (to smoke tobacco) was completely normal at the time. Moreover at this time in France, hashish (marijuana) was mainly consumed by ingestion, rarely smoked (see for instance wikipedia:Les_Paradis_artificiels , or wikipedia:Le_Mangeur_de_haschisch).
