While authorship is attributed to the Air Force, the photo was published by Agência Brasil on their website, which clearly states: "O conteúdo deste site é publicado sob uma Licença Creative Commons Atribuição 2.5 Brasil." Several more photos have now been published on the Agência Brasil website which could be relevant to the article, including more detailed ones of the crash site and wreckage. I still have some doubts. The Agência Brasil license states "This photograph was produced by Agência Brasil". So, I don't really think that the license applies to works produced by other Brazilian government bodies, such as the Air Force. I'm gonna ask other opinions. Dantadd 16:08, 2 October 2006 (UTC)

The same discussion came up on Commons:Deletion requests/FAB images. I have contacted Agência Brasil about it and received a reply from one of their press advisors, which confirms the fact that the images are indeed under the same licence. Agência Brasil is a government agency whose purpose is to publish content created by several branches of the government and make it available for the general media - unless stated otherwise, all content on their website is under the Creative Commons Attribution 2.5 Brazil. - Antiuser 21:32, 5 October 2006 (UTC)
