Is the ISS crew that allegedly shot that image able to explain why Earth's horizon is flat on it? --212.186.7.98 13:52, 12 August 2018 (UTC)[回复]

Use a straight edge instead of your eyes. There is a curve, although not pronounced because of the narrow field of view. Hohum (留言) 15:13, 12 August 2018 (UTC)[回复]

So up in the mesosphere you still need to measure precisely in order to discover a very slight curve? How is it then with airplanes from which you allegedly can see a curvature too? If you have to measure so precisely in this (and the V-2) image, then you shouldn't be able to see any curvature 35.000 feet up at all. --212.186.7.98 15:33, 12 August 2018 (UTC)[回复]

Read the field of view article until you understand it. Hohum (留言) 18:40, 13 August 2018 (UTC)[回复]
