While rendered beautifully and incorporating a number of important details (e.g., names for languages and dialects in the actual languages), this map incorrectly labels a number of Inuktitut dialects as Inuvialuktun. Inuvialuktun refers to the dialects spoken in the Northwest Territories in the Inuvialuit Settlement Region (and could possibly be extended to Inuinnaqtun speakers in such places as Cambridge Bay and Kugluktuk). However, it does not include North Baffin, or the west coast of Hudson Bay. The areas indicated on the map as Kivallirmiutut, Avilingmiutut, Natsilingmiutut, and Qikiqtaaluk Uannagnani should be grouped with Inuktitut, not Inuvialuktun. See, for instance, Dorais (2003, 2017). Inuvialuktun also appears to be spelled incorrectly. — 以上未签名的留言是由该用户加入的: Richardjamescompton (留言 • 贡献) 13:34, 10 June 2020 (UTC)[回复]
