Baltic States[编辑]

Northern Estonia was not part of the Kingdom of Sweden, as show on this map. In 1328 Northern Estonia belonged to Denmark, which sold it to Teutonic Order after the St. George's Night Uprising (check the article of proof). Another thing that very sure of is that, Teutonic Order didn't not have continues connection between its Baltic and Prussian possessions. Part of the Baltic sea coast belonged to Lithuania.

I was also wondering about Lithuania. I do not know for sure, but I thought Lithuania controlled a part of the Baltic sea coast. --Oddeivind (留言) 16:18, 24 May 2014 (UTC)[回复]

Majorca?[编辑]

I'm puzzled by two things in this map: Firstly, the Catalan-speaking Balearic islands are missing entirely, and this can't be justified on their size since the biggest one of them is bigger than half a dozen other islands that have been included. Secondly, the name of that biggest one of those islands, namely Majorca, does appear on the map, but instead placed over the Catalan-speaking region of present-day Rousillon in France. The name Majorca is placed correctly, Perpignan in Rousillon was capital of the Kingdom of Majorca . But the kingdom also included the Balearic islands. --Ö 09:29, 17 February 2007 (UTC)[回复]

this needs to be updated rather urgently, it is rather innacurate. 168.174.253.220 15:47, 5 February 2007 (UTC)[回复]

~~The kingdom of majorca was created by the death of Jaume I at 1276, included the rousillon, balearic islands, Sardinia and Montpellier. At 1349, the kingdom of Majorca was re-annexionated to Aragon kingdom after the battle of Llucmajor. A legacy of this fact can be seen at Perpignan, where is placed the "Mallorca Kings Palace"(in Catalan, palau dels reis de mallorca). Despite of all, the balearic islands are missing at the map.

Havarre[编辑]

Also, it says Havarre instead of Navarre or Navarra. Qoan (dis-me!) 21:16, 1 December 2010 (UTC)[回复]

Sicilly and Naples[编辑]

In 1328 these regions were separate kingdoms ruled by a cadet branch of the House of Barcelona respectively the House of Anjou. There were split after the rebellion|Sicilian Vespers|rebellion against Charles I of Sicily. The name "Kingdom of the Both Sicilies applies to the period after 1816 so is incorrect. Northern borders of Norway[编辑]

The northernmost Norwegian border fits better with this late 14th c map (allthough in a personal union with Sweden from 1319, Norway was still a separate state)

Northern borders of Norways should be extended along the coastline at least to the Varanger peninsula where the royal Vardøhus Fortress was built in 1306. Treaty of Novgorod (1326) defined a buffer zone between Norway and Novgorod. See also the 1323 Treaty of Nöteborg. Havre2020 (留言) 16:37, 8 December 2023 (UTC)[回复]
