Map is inaccurate / misleading visavi source[編集]
Why are several Asian countries shown in color on this map? Color-coding some Asian states implies that the source includes them as european countries. But the source for this map is the CIA World Factbook, and the factbook map is clear: Turkey, Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan are in Asia (Middle East map) and not in Europe. - Well, yes. I chose to correct the map myself. The error was quite grave: the original map was cited erroneously. It was also obvious that the map was inaccurate, since the original data is from a website. I can't see the relevance of "coordination with other projects"; are you saying that some wikipedia projects should contribute inaccurate maps? Koyos (talk) 06:13, 28 December 2009 (UTC)
Nein, das ist keine ersthafte Frage (no serious question, nobody wants errors). Mir geht es darum, dass die Karte in 15 Sprachen von Japanisch bis Portugiesisch verwendet wird und die Änderungen entsprechend abgestimmt werden müssen (you can't make changes here for the English Wikipedia, without effecting 14 other projects.) --Kolja21 (talk) 18:28, 29 December 2009 (UTC)

Source of information?[編集]
As subdivision of Europe into regions differs from source to source, it would be really useful to have a direct reference for this partition. I've been unable to find any such list or map on the CIA WF website, so I would be very grateful for a reference. Primaler (トーク) 04:45, 22 October 2020 (UTC)
