Edit war about Croatia

Update: Croatia joins the EEA. --Kolja21 (talk) 21:03, 12 April 2014 (UTC)[回覆]
Correction: Croatia is a member on a "provisional basis" pending ratification. Hence why I updated the map. Unfortunately, Kolja21 is afraid of the colour red. But never fear, there is an up to date version of the map now available at File:European Economic Area members.svg! TDL (talk) 21:15, 12 April 2014 (UTC)[回覆]
I'm not afraid of colors, but I don't like user starting edit wars, changing maps without discussion, ignore all Wikipedias but the one they are working for, and cry "censorship" if I leave a comment on their talk page. So I'm really glad that you've made your own copy of this map and let use work without your attempts to disturb. --Kolja21 (talk) 14:04, 13 April 2014 (UTC)[回覆]
And I don't like users starting edit wars, reverting bold changes without a coherent rational, owning their uploads, and coming to my talk page to cry about how I "encourage speculation". Especially so since your comments that I should "talk a look at the desciption field" made it clear that you hadn't even bothered to look my changes. And starting a conversation by saying silly things like "Has Croatin like Crimea been occupied by Putins Russia?" makes it awfully hard to take your rant seriously.
If you object to my attempts to make the map more informative then fine, but if you're unwilling or unable to offer a coherent explanation for your objections then there isn't much I can do to address them. To date, the only rationale you've offered for your repeated reverts is to claim that red is "an alarming color" and that red=Putin. I suggested using an alternate colour but you rejected that without any sort of explanation. Several days later, and you still haven't offered any argument for why you think that provisional members of the EEA shouldn't be depicted on this map. You've been more interested in scolding me for daring to improve your map than in refuting the premise of my argument. You chose to start and edit war rather than explain your concerns.
Since it seems clear that you're more interested in owning this file then in making it informative, accurate and up to date, it's not worth wasting my time on it. Though it's a pity that your disruption will result in some other language wikis being left with out of date or inaccurate information. TDL (talk) 02:45, 14 April 2014 (UTC)[回覆]
You started an edit war with other users, not with me. I only was the one that said: Stop! I will not accept this anti-social behavior. --Kolja21 (talk) 17:53, 14 April 2014 (UTC)[回覆]
No, once again you have your facts wrong. You are trying awfully hard to change the facts to fit your narrative. An editor made a change to the map (added Croatia) and I made a further change (changed Croatia from blue to red). That, by the very definition, is not a revert nor an edit war because I was not restoring a prior version of the map. YOU, on the other hand, started the edit war by making the very first revert without any sort of coherent explanation as to why other than a paranoid rant about how red=Putin. And you proceeded to make 4 reverts while I made but a single revert. (And no, saying "Stop!" while you are edit warring does not change the fact that you are edit warring.) I took the higher road and stopped reverting to let you win your edit war by uploading the up to date version to a new filename.
Trust me, I'm not pleased with your anti-social behaviour either. But rather than trying to blame me for your behavioural issues, why don't you just offer a rational explanation for why you object to the provisional members being depicted on this map? Why do you insist on other language wikis being deprived of this info? TDL (talk) 16:58, 16 April 2014 (UTC)[回覆]
Again: This is Commons. If you what a special version of this map for enWP, please use File:European Economic Area members.svg. --Kolja21 (talk) 14:09, 23 April 2014 (UTC)[回覆]
